Perfetto
Arrivato con 3 giorni di anticipo. Subito collegato e funziona a meraviglia.

Great sounding player
The DVR108 sounds really good. It is easy to use, the display is big, clear and readable from a distance.
My player came with a Chinese manual only. i could read it with Google Translate; also the user interface is fairly simple so there isn't much need for a manual for most operations. The display shows English words / letters. "WELCOME" , "NO DISC", "CD" and so on. What little writing is on the remote control is also in English.
Mine also came with a Chinese power lead. The socket on the back of the player is IEC C13, the same as most PCs. I had no trouble finding a suitable power lead.
It's quite heavy and seems solidly built.
Once connected it sounds great. I have no regrets.
Thoroughly recommended.

Oh, and answering one question i had before i bought it - the volume controls only impact the headphone output,

Review: Furutech La Source 103 Headshell Leads
The Furutech La Source 103 headshell leads certainly make a strong first impression. They arrive in a beautifully presented box that immediately conveys the premium positioning of the product. The packaging is elegant and refined, exactly what one would expect from a high-end accessory carrying the Furutech name.

That said, nobody buys headshell leads for the box, and ultimately the value of a product should be judged by its design, usability, and performance.

The leads themselves are attractively made and fitted with high-quality connectors. The contacts feel solid, grip securely, and inspire confidence during installation. Compared to many cheaper alternatives, they give the impression of being built to last.

However, one issue quickly becomes apparent: the cables are quite stiff. While the robust construction may contribute to durability, it can make installation challenging on many headshells and cartridges. In tighter layouts, the wires can be difficult to position neatly and may remain under slight mechanical tension after mounting, which is not ideal.

Another disappointment is the lack of technical specifications. Furutech does not appear to provide the connector diameters for either the cartridge or headshell side. Based on my own measurements, both ends seem to be approximately 1.2 mm, but this is only an estimate. For users who want to verify compatibility before purchase, more detailed specifications would have been welcome.

As for sound quality, I did not hear any dramatic improvement over other well-made headshell leads. Any differences were subtle and difficult to separate from normal system variability. While they certainly do not degrade performance, it is hard to conclude that they offer a clear sonic advantage that fully justifies their premium price.

Pros
Excellent build quality
Solid, secure connectors
Attractive premium presentation
High-quality fit and finish
Cons
Very stiff cables
Can be difficult to install on some headshells
No published connector diameter specifications
Expensive for what is essentially a set of headshell leads
Sonic benefits are not immediately obvious
Verdict

The Furutech La Source 103 is a beautifully finished premium product with excellent connectors and a luxury presentation. However, the very stiff wiring and the lack of detailed technical specifications detract from the overall experience. While there is nothing fundamentally wrong with the product, I am not convinced that its performance fully justifies the asking price when compared with several less expensive alternatives.

A well-made and visually impressive set of headshell leads, but one whose premium price is harder to justify once the novelty of the packaging wears off.

magnetique

A SWEETHEARTH
I bougth 2 meters of Oyaide Vondita mains cable and terminated it with copper Viborg IEC and Schucko connectors. I use it to power my Audio Research Ref 110 power amplifier. The sound effect of this cable is evident but in my experience it needs about 100 hours to burn in. After this period of time, the midrange is especially delicate without loosing detail and transparency; the high-end is sweet and harmonically rich; the bass is articulated and warm. The soundstage is airy and natural; microdynamics are fine. As a whole, this cable is musically engaging especially with classical and jazz programs.

Bon petit module

excellent product
i use the digirescue between my streamer and my dac. Fed by a Sbooster botw 5v power supply. The difference is much greater then i expected. Bigger soundstage and more dynamics, I did some a/b testing and its very clearly audible in my setup. Very happy with this product and audiophonics.

Excellent as monoblocks
I bought 2 amps to use as monoblocks. I previously used an SMSL PA-X in stereo; it wasn't bad, but it wasn't good enough. That is why I immediately tried the monoblock configuration with these amps. It was promising the first time, but it needed about a 50-hour break-in period to show its true sound character. The amps were connected to my Sonus Faber Guarneri (the original version) loudspeakers. This configuration has excellent spatial resolution, well-defined instruments, and a deep, wide soundstage. You can hear the microdetails and the microdynamics of a good recording. The sound isn't warm, but it isn't tiring either. I could compare them to my VAC Avatar integrated amp, which is in another league. Of course, the VAC sounds considerably better, but they are not far apart. The VMV A1 Pro monoblocks have an even wider, deeper soundstage. And they don't heat my listening room in summer.

Crystal clear and transparent.
In short a very capable, clean and clear monoblock amplifier and even when turned up high with no music playing it is dead quiet. Build quality inside is also top notch with good attention to detail on the wiring and connections. Speaker terminals are of very good quality. I did try the available ghost op amp but did not really notice to much difference and I am hoping that the akm new op amp coming out next year may be suitable and available through Audiophonics. I have also found that on the lowest gain setting there is a slight improvement even if the preamp is not in its mid point setting. In summary if you can pass through the best source quality material it will simply pass it right along.

Very capable dac/preamp
I have listened to this dac and preamp for over two weeks now and can say that the dual rohm chip latest version is very smooth sounding with good detail and dynamics. When used as a preamp it is also very capable but can be improved upon if you have a better quality stand alone preamp. It may be beneficial for some to have more selection of i2s settings as there are only two which may or may not match your source i2s format. I have found that in the sound mode settings that mode 1 is more to my liking. The remote control is all aluminum and better quality than the usual plastic kind. Audiophonics were also very helpful in updating to the latest firmware 2.01 before it was shipped and I thank them for this.

J'oubliais

DC07 d'ibasso , aune yuki , E1DA 9039s , dac r2r etc...

too firm grip strips coating of plugs
Nice looking Schuko socket. The grip of the contacts is very firm, thereby stripping the gold plating form my Neotech plug; no Furutech socket has ever achieved this
Sound: not remotely as open, natural and musical as the Furutech FI-E30 NCF(R)

other body than in the pictures
Packaging: nice small box
Body 1: unlike the pictures at the Audiophonics website, the body is massive like the RC-102; so the earth cable has to be soldered to a massive copper mass, that requires several minutes of heating with my direct heated soldering tips @ 140W; unluckily this caused one of the plastic rings to become soft and deform
Body 2: like more of the Viborg plugs and sockets I’ve used, the machining is not up to the best levels; my other rca caps of several brands are too loose for these sockets
Sound: clearly more open and natural than the brand-less gold plated RCA plugs (no 15298, https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/rca-sockets/rca-plugs-gold-plated-pair-p-15298.html); less open, punchy and natural than the WBT-0201Cu

very nice connector for its price
Packaging: plastic zip bag
Body: sturdy and nicely polished; good quality cable clamps; accepts cables up to 11mm, which is very nice
Pins: nice hollow central pin; earth pin only touches the socket at its end, so with WBT-0201 this can be a problem; nice rhodium finishing
Dielectric: I assume a low temperature melting plastic is used, so therefore you’ll have to disassemble the plug before soldering and then reassemble it again; it is a little annoying in the beginning, but quite easy after a few tries
Sound: clear improvement over Elecaudio RC90-redc and TE-RC85S; bit more punchy than WBT-0102Cu

huge disappointment for its price
Price: currently (sept 2026) Audiophonics asks €300 for 4 connectors, which is about €100 cheaper than other dealers
Packaging: nice box, however no instructions, leaflet or description of the contents
Body: sturdy and nicely polished, with good quality cable clamp
Pins: nice hollow central pin; no surface coating, so direct exposure of the soft silver; slight dark discoloration due to the formation of silver sulfide
Dielectric 1: black plastic that liquifies and boils away during soldering with ROHS/Pb-free Mundorf Msolder Supreme @ 300C thereby displacing the pin; solution → use a rca socket to keep everything in place during soldering; sorry to say, but in my opinion this is unforgivable for such an expensive plug
Dielectric 2: my ETI Brio XLR connectors have ptfe as dielectric, and melting has never been an issue; my WBT plugs and sockets also don’t have ptfe as dielectric, but melting has never happened
Sound: punchy and natural, like silver always does when the proportions are right; however, I’m not impressed by the small increase of spaciousness when compared to my WBT-0201 plugs
My personal conclusion: for €300 I’d expect at least a better dielectric; sound-wise I’m not very impressed

Ascilab

(bon sauf réparation possible Mr AUDIOPHONICS?) dommage.

Expecting the best - getting the most fabulous
WOW!
This piece really suprised me.
The rectifying wire has been invented!
Look at those Frequency Response diagram - completely flat from 20Hz to 50KHz.
This amplifier replaced 2 Hypex NCore400 in my setup and is going to drive a pair of B&W 802D2. These are well known for beeing an Impedance-Diva, going down to 2 Ohm in some frequency ranges.

Today is my first evening with the amp and I love it already!
My speakers are now "grown up", more bass, more mids, heigths as well as before, but what amazes me most is the much wider and better defined stereo image.
The NC400 wasn't bad but not that much refined - and they cheated twice on me with dying SMPS's.
This is going to get a LONG evening...
Thanks to Audiophonics - nice case, very well assembled amp, lightning-fast delivery and the implemented trigger logic is the topping cherry on the cake.
Well Done folks!

Potente e controllato
Ottimo prodotto, silezioso e neutro. Lo proverò anche con i 6602 che ordinerò

Small but a life saver
Plug it and works flawlessly, jack 1 trigger imediatly , jack 2 has 2 sec delay, 3 and 4 plus 1 second delay each. Awesome feature. Tested one port 200mA can trigger 2 fosi ZA3 at the same time which means 100mA each. Box is small also nice

Fine connector but hard to solder
This is a good quality connector BUT, very hard to solder and the plastic isolators are not the same quality as the metal connector.
Chep PVC plastic or something like that, this connector need a lot of heat to solder and the plastic do not tolerate the amount of heat. If you can, solder them before you mount them.

Great quality, and above all, super fast shipping. Highly recommend
Great quality, and above all, super fast shipping. Highly recommend

Excellent

Exellent
Excellent, the sound is the same as before, only now with more comfort. Of course, everything is connected with excellent silver-plated cables. All recommendations!

Superbe sélection pour recaper un ampli vintage.
Merci AUDIOPHONICS.

Did the job well
I had picked up, from Japan, a Sony MDS PC3 (minidisc recorder) this Power supply allowed me to power the recorder without a EU to Japan transformer) I only had one minor issue( not related to the product) that was the DC input to the minidisc was slightly smaller than the standard 2.1 plug. An adapter fixed the issue and the minidisc functions perfectly with this product supplying the "juice".
