The Dayton Audio TT-HS1 is an SME-compatible angled headshell designed to provide a stable mechanical and electrical connection between the cartridge and the tonearm. It features a lightweight anodised aluminium body, which helps to minimise unwanted resonance whilst maintaining good balance in the tonearm. This approach is extended to the zinc-plated 4-pin connectors, which ensure reliable, low-resistance contact, thereby preserving the integrity of the analogue signal throughout the entire signal path.
