The principle of the Permalloy PPCT transformer

A Permalloy coupling transformer brings a lot of benefits to an electrostatic headset. It provides a real impedance and voltage matching on an electrostatic headset that produces a dynamic microphone from bass to treble without thinness with real homogeneity on the bandwidth.

An amplification power supply on a capacitive load

High level components

This capacitive battery charge is achieved through 12 Wima Germany 1000 V capacitors. The key is the very high insulation resistance (several kilo Ohm) with minimal leakage currents. The SMD type resistors on the circuit are of Vishay MELF series origin allowing a fast impulse response without noise noises on the harmonics of the signal.
