This Elecaudio CH-22G MK2 connector is a Swiss J-type mains connector (SEV1011). It features an insertion ring limiting the cable diameter to Ø17mm, as well as an internal plastic cable clamp. The contacts feature 24k gold plating for optimum resistance to oxidation and corrosion, as well as optimal conductivity. The gold 24k plating gives the connectors a perfectly smooth, uniform coating, totally free from the imperfections inherent in single-layer plating.

The internal terminal blocks are also worth a closer look. Equipped with large fastening screws, and therefore requiring no soldering, they are capable of accommodating very large conductor diameters, up to 12mm² in cross-section, or Ø4mm in diameter.
As the screw is in direct contact with the cable, we recommend the use of copper ferrules to protect against shearing.
