Hifiman Sundara closed-back headphone features planar magnetic transducers. Their high quality sound is rich, warm and detailed. The architecture of the headphones will enable you to enjoy your music in all types of locations, whether indoors or outdoors in a noisy environment, thanks to their high level of isolation. Its simple Jack 3.5mm connector and Jack 3.5mm to Jack 6.35mm adapter make it easily compatible with most headphone amplifiers, portable music players and portable DAPs.
Planar Magnetic technology & Supernano diaphragm
Hifiman's Planar Magnetic technology built into the Sundara headphones enables them to oscillate their transducers at high speed for great responsiveness, while also extending their frequency response up to 50kHz. The Sundara produces a warm, detailed sound devoid of distortion. Its bass are deep, while vocals and treble are detailed and rich. These headphones also have a diaphragm that is 80% thinner than common headphone diaphragms, giving them excellent impulse response.
Beechwood shells
The Sundara's closed structure is fitted with beechwood shells, giving it a noble, high-end feel. The beech shell offers superb acoustic performance and also helps to limit distortion and resonance.
Maximum comfort
The padded ear cups wrap comfortably around your ears, allowing you to use the headphones for long periods of time. Moreover, a double headband distributes the weight of the headphones evenly and optimally.
An interchangeable and replaceable independent cable
The earpieces of the Hifiman Sundara closed-back headphones each have Jack 3.5mm plugs. The cable also has a Jack 3.5mm connector on the other side and comes with a Jack 3.5mm to Jack 6.35mm adapter. The Sundara can therefore be easily combined with a wide range of headphone amplifiers, portable music players and DAPs. In addition, its 20 Ohms impedance and 98db sensitivity mean it can be powered and driven by modest power sources.
