Talent Silent Disco Prism 3-Channel UHF/RF Wireless Headphones with Color LEDs
The Talent Silent Disco Prism is a wireless headphone designed for Silent Disco systems, parties and group listening applications. Equipped with an integrated RF receiver operating in the 914 to 915MHz UHF band, it allows users to select one of the 3 audio channels broadcast by a compatible transmitter, such as the Talent DJ4 or MC3. Its integrated RGB LEDs change color and can be controlled by the transmitter when paired with a compatible controller. Featuring an adjustable headband, foldable circumaural earcups with foam cushions and a rechargeable 500mAh Li-Po battery, it provides up to 10 hours of battery life with a full recharge taking approximately 3 hours. Dedicated controls are provided for RF channel selection, volume and power. Supplied with a charging cable, it is particularly suitable for Silent Disco parties, concerts, bars, performance venues, guided tours and educational spaces.
Please note that these headphones are not Bluetooth-compatible, as they use UHF/RF radio waves. They are also designed for use with the brand's proprietary transmitters: MC3 and DJ4.
Talent Silent Disco Prism: Three Audio Channels for Silent Disco Systems
The integrated RF receiver in the Talent Prism picks up audio signals transmitted by a compatible transmitter. Users can switch between channels directly on the headphones to choose between several audio sources, such as different music tracks or commentary. The system operates in stereo, with FM modulation and a specified frequency response of 30Hz to 20kHz. The Silent Disco system allows up to three transmitters to be paired to provide three separate channels, while a single transmitter can be paired with an unlimited number of compatible headphones. The Prism is not Bluetooth-compatible: audio transmission relies on the dedicated UHF/RF system.
Talent Silent Disco Prism: RGB LEDs, Comfort and Battery Life
The RGB LEDs integrated into the outside of the earcups add a visual dimension to events. With a Talent DJ4 or MC3 transmitter and a compatible color controller, users can select up to 12 lighting settings, including steady and flashing effects. The headphones feature a plastic structure, a flexible rubber-covered headband and foam ear cushions, with an adjustable, foldable design intended to accommodate movement. The 500mAh rechargeable lithium-polymer battery provides up to 10 hours of use, with a full recharge taking approximately 3 hours.
Talent Silent Disco Prism: Chexology Application
The Chexology tracking system simplifies headphone management at events where multiple units are made available to participants. It is particularly useful for Silent Disco parties, festivals and private events, where tracking loaned equipment and simplifying its return are important.
The system relies on an NFC tag integrated into the headphones, which can be scanned using the Chexology application and a compatible reader. The service allows the loan of the headphones to a participant to be recorded and linked to their phone number, after which the headphones can be scanned again when returned.
The Chexology service requires a paid subscription and is optional: it is not a GPS tracking feature integrated into the headphones.
