Audio Player DAC ES9068AS Headphone Amplifier 2x THX AAA-788+ 32bit 768kHz DSD256 MQA
The FiiO R7 is the brand's first ever digital audio player featuring a high-performance ES9068AS DAC chip, two high-power THX-788+ headphone amplifier chipsets and a beautiful display for intuitive navigation. Featuring an extensive connectivity, the R7 can be used both as a standalone player and in combination with other devices.
ES9068AS DAC
The digital/analog conversion stage is equipped with an ESS ES9068AS DAC. This one, in addition to ensuring a decoding of a great quality, allows the support of high resolution audio streams, up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD256. It is also capable of reading MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) files for the most faithful sound reproduction possible.
THX amplifier circuit
The FiiO R7 features a powerful amplifier circuit, embedding two THX AAA-788+ chips. It is thus capable of delivering a high power of 3000mW. Furthermore, the R7 offers 7 gain levels, allowing it to adapt to the most demanding headphones as well as to very sensitive in-ear monitors.
A complete connectivity
The R7 is not left behind in terms of connectivity and offers many possibilities of association. On the input side, there are USB-C, USB-A (USB Host), coaxial, optical, an SD card slot, an RJ45 Ethernet network input, as well as Bluetooth. For the outputs, the FiiO R7 offers coaxial, optical, single-ended RCA, balanced XLR, as well as three headphone outputs in balanced 4.4mm jack and 4-pin XLR formats and unbalanced 6.35mm jack.
A powerful architecture
The FiiO R7 ensures a fast use without slowing down thanks to the integration of a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, associated with 4GB of RAM. It also uses Android 10 operating system, allowing the installation and use of numerous applications.
