MUSE HIFI MUSE300 DAC Headphone Amplifier

The Muse HiFi Muse300 is a high-end DAC and desktop headphone amplifier designed to deliver high-fidelity audio performance combined with an innovative user experience. Presented as the first desktop DAC/headphone amplifier equipped with the proprietary Muse OS operating system, it features an ESS ES9039 Ultra digital-to-analog converter based on the HyperStream IV architecture, a Qualcomm QCC3095 Bluetooth chip supporting Bluetooth 5.4, as well as an analog section composed of two OPA1612 operational amplifiers and two ES9603Q I/V conversion stages. Compatible with PCM streams up to 32bit / 384kHz and DSD256 via USB, the Muse300 also supports high-resolution Bluetooth codecs including aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, LDAC, AAC, and SBC. Its headphone amplification stage is based on two Texas Instruments TPA6120A2 circuits delivering up to 2200mW into 32Ω through its balanced 4.4mm output and up to 1100mW into 32Ω through its single-ended headphone output. Connectivity includes USB, Optical Toslink, Coaxial S/PDIF, and Bluetooth inputs, along with side-mounted 6.35mm and 4.4mm headphone outputs, complemented by rear-panel RCA and XLR analog outputs. Its large 5-inch color display, three customizable graphical interfaces, three dedicated sound modes, and fully balanced design make it a particularly comprehensive solution for demanding audiophiles.
