DOUK AUDIO U5 Balanced Headphone Amplifier JRC4580
The Douk Audio U5 is a compact headphone amplifier with a fully balanced architecture, designed to deliver a precise analog signal with power up to 1400 mW into 32 Ω. It relies on XLR connectivity and a low-distortion design to efficiently drive headphones from 18 to 600 Ω.
Intended for fixed Hi-Fi setups, it combines balanced inputs and outputs, 5 V power supply and an integrated volume control. This design allows it to easily integrate with various analog sources, while maintaining a stable output with low- or high-impedance headphones.

The Douk Audio U5 is a compact headphone amplifier with a fully balanced design, developed to deliver the analog signal with low distortion and a wide frequency response. Its stereo XLR input allows the use of a balanced connection, while its power reaches 1400 mW into 32 Ω, enabling the use of headphones with an impedance between 18 and 600 Ω.
Douk Audio U5: Connectivity and power supply
This versatility is extended by two balanced headphone outputs, in XLR and 4.4 mm jack, in order to adapt to different listening configurations. Its 5 V DC power supply allows the use of both a phone charger and an external battery, facilitating its integration into a fixed or mobile setup.
Douk Audio U5: Replaceable op-amp
The U5 adopts an analog architecture based on 4 JRC4580 operational amplifiers, mounted on DIP8 to allow their replacement with a compatible model. The integrated potentiometer provides progressive volume adjustment without unwanted noise or imbalance between channels, while the power switch brings the essential functions together in a compact format.
