FURUTECH FI-15E (G) IEC Connector 24k Gold Plated Copper Ø16mm

High-performance female IEC power plug, ideal for building a high-end audiophile power cable. In addition to its 24k gold-plated copper contacts, the FI-15E also benefits from FURUTECH's proprietary Alpha α anti-magnetism treatment.

Its composite nylon and fiberglass body is extremely resistant to impact, electric arcs, and high temperatures. It also has the unique feature of opening completely in two parts to facilitate access to the connectors and thus installation.

The conductors are secured using three color-coded screws (two poles + ground), which are tightened securely to prevent any risk of accidental cable damage or disconnection.

Compatible with thick cables up to 16mm in diameter.

Très bon.
Très bon connecteur que j'utilise pour les alimentations linéaires. Il est costaud, très costaud, je lui préfère son petit frère qui est plus longiligne, mais très grande qualité, comme souvent avec Furutech.

Refined and relaxed
I like this gold-plated IEC in combination with the Furutech FI-E11-N1 (G) Schuko. The FI-15-Plus G provides a lot of refinement while still sounding relaxed and effortless. I use the two plugs with an old Vovox initio power cord, made form silver-plated solid-core copper. Massed strings are simply beautiful with this combo. Silk and cream.

The usual choice for an IEC together with the Furutech FI-E11-N1 Gold Schuko would be the Furutech FI-11-N1-G, of course. But I never warmed up to it. To my ears, the Furutech FI-11-N1-G IEC simply messes with the timing. E.g. instrumental groups in symphony orchestras lose their cohesion. In the long run, it's annoying and tiresome. I tried the FI-11-N1-G time and again, but I simply can't stand it.

To my ears, this Furutech FI-15 Plus (G) is the much more musical, natural and involving IEC plug. And on top of that, it's cheaper.

Trés bon connecteur!
Connecteur pas trop encombrant, de l'espace à l'intérieur pour les fils, connexion par vissage efficace, fermeture facile une fois les câble installé... donc conception général bien pensée... bref c'est du Furutech!

maintien parfait de la gaine et de chaque câble
monté avec un câble In-Wall GIGAWATT (pourtant super rigide)
