The York Pico ISO B is a USB audio interface designed to offer great flexibility of use beyond conventional USB to I2S applications. It combines a UAC2 interface for audio input and output with a HID interface for user control, such as I2C operations and GPIO control. The ISO version also incorporates galvanic isolation to ensure a perfectly unaltered signal.
Key features:
This digital audio module supports up to eight input and output channels, with sampling frequencies up to 192kHz, extendable to 384kHz via an external clock. It is based on a PIC32MZ microcontroller with MIPS architecture, integrating a high-speed USB interface and a DSP instruction set enabling the implementation of embedded audio processing. The internal clock is provided by two low-noise oscillators of 22.5792MHz and 24.576MHz, dedicated to sampling rates of 44.1 and 48kHz, powered by an isolated LDO regulator. An external clock input is also available, compatible with ratios of 256/512/1024fs.
