The Dayton Audio Epique E150MR-8 is a wideband midrange speaker of 152.4mm (6 inches) designed to cover a frequency range from 70Hz to 7kHz. It operates at an impedance of 8Ω and reaches a sensitivity of 89.6dB, with a power handling of 60W RMS, allowing integration into systems requiring a consistent output level across a wide portion of the midrange spectrum.

Designed for multi-way speakers as well as extended configurations, it uses a carbon fiber cone combined with a profiled surround to maintain consistent behavior across its operating range. The motor incorporates an aluminum ring and a copper cap, acting on inductance and operational stability, while the aluminum phase plug contributes to high-frequency management. The assembly is mounted on a cast aluminum frame, ensuring structural rigidity, with a ventilation system contributing to heat dissipation during extended use.
