WiiM Bar DTSX Dolby Atmos Soundbar HDMI WiFi 6E Bluetooth 5.4 135W Glossy Black
The WiiM Bar is a 3.0.2 soundbar designed for Home Cinema systems and music listening, combining Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, network streaming and a system power output of 135W. Its acoustic architecture is based on 8 speakers combined with 4 passive radiators: three front-firing mid-bass drivers, three front-firing tweeters and two full-range upward-firing speakers for Dolby Atmos height effects. It can be connected to a TV via HDMI eARC, as well as to various sources through its optical, Line In and USB inputs, while streaming is provided via Wi-Fi 6E, Ethernet and Bluetooth 5.4.
The WiiM Bar also features a high-resolution 2.1" color touchscreen displaying album artwork, playback information, the equalizer, presets and various visualizations. It can be used on its own in a 3.0.2 configuration, then upgraded wirelessly to a 5.1.2 system by adding compatible WiiM surround speakers and a subwoofer.
The soundbar supports LPCM, Dolby Atmos/TrueHD/DD+, AC3, DTS and DTS:X and integrates into the WiiM streaming ecosystem, including Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Google Cast Audio, DLNA/UPnP and Roon.
WiiM Bar: A 3.0.2 Dolby Atmos and DTS:X architecture
The WiiM Bar is designed around a 3.0.2 architecture, with three 110 × 52mm mid-bass drivers, three 52 × 52mm tweeters and two 52 × 52mm full-range upward-firing speakers. Four 115 × 50mm passive radiators, distributed across the front and rear, complete the system. This configuration reproduces the height effects of Dolby Atmos and DTS:X soundtracks from a single soundbar, while providing a wide soundstage and clear dialogue reproduction. The system's total power output reaches 135W.
WiiM Bar: Touchscreen, app and voice control
On the front, the WiiM Bar features a 2.1-inch color touchscreen protected by a glass surface, displaying album artwork, audio settings, Smart Presets, equalizer, clock and various playback information, while providing direct access to the controls. A Voice Remote 2 Lite is also included to control the soundbar remotely, including through voice commands. The WiiM Bar is compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri voice assistants, allowing certain device functions to be controlled by voice. The WiiM Home app, available on iOS and Android, provides access to various streaming services and advanced settings, including the equalizer and the RoomFit™ function. This uses the smartphone's microphones to analyze the room's acoustics and automatically optimize the sound response. The soundbar also offers several listening modes, including Movie, Music, Voice and Night, the latter reducing level differences for low-volume listening.
WiiM Bar: Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4 and extensive connectivity
The WiiM Bar offers particularly comprehensive connectivity with tri-band Wi-Fi 6E on 2.4 / 5 / 6GHz, Ethernet and Bluetooth 5.4 with LE Audio via a software update. For wired sources, it features an HDMI eARC input, an optical input, a Line In input and USB Audio In/Out and USB Host ports. The HDMI eARC input supports signals up to 24-bit 192kHz, as well as PCM, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos, DTS, DTS-HD and DTS:X. For streaming, it can operate with the WiiM Home app and various services and protocols, including Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Google Cast Audio, Amazon Music Cast, DLNA/UPnP, Qplay 3.0, LMS and Roon.
WiiM Bar: An expandable system up to 5.1.2
The WiiM Bar can serve as the starting point for an expandable Home Cinema system. Used on its own, it operates in 3.0.2; compatible WiiM surround speakers and a subwoofer can then be added wirelessly to create a system of up to 5.1.2, without requiring speaker cables running across the room. It can also be integrated into the WiiM multiroom ecosystem to stream music synchronously with other compatible devices.
