Successor to the DL200, the SMSL DL300 retains the basic features of its predecessor, but with a number of improvements. Indeed, this time the DL300 incorporates the combination of AKM AK4191 (digital interface) and AK4499EX (DAC chip). This chipset enables the DL300 to support high-resolution streams up to PCM 32bit 768kHz, DSD DoP256, native DSD DSD512 and MQA/MQA-CD streams. Like the DL200, the DL300 features two headphone outputs on the front panel (6.35mm jack and 4.4mm balanced). It features high-quality components such as a Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth 5.1 receiver chip and an XMOS XU-316 USB interface. In terms of connectivity, it features the essentials: USB-C input, Toslink optical, SPDIF coaxial, RCA stereo output, as well as a new balanced stereo output on XLR ( previously Jack 6.35mm on the DL200) and an I2S input via HDMI.

The many improvements made to the SMSL DL300 make it a versatile, high-performance headphone DAC/ headphone amplifier.

The SMSL DL300 supports high fidelity sampling rates up to PCM 32bit 768kHz, DSD DoP256, native DSD DSD512 and MQA/MQA-CD streams, thanks to its combination of AKM AK4191 and AK4499EX chips. These chips deliver clear, rich sound reproduction, while allowing very low THD+N distortion: 0.00006% (-124dB, UN-WTD).

XMOS XU-316 USB interface

A third-generation USB XMOS XU-316 interface on a USB-C connector enables the SMSL DL300 to process high-resolution streams. This makes it ideal for users wishing to use their computer as an audio source.

Bluetooth 5.1

A QCC5125 Bluetooth receiver chip from Qualcomm supports the standard codecs SBC and AAC, as well as the high-resolution codecs aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive and LDAC. As a result, the DL300 enables users to transmit high-quality audio streams wirelessly.

Support MQA and MQA-CD streams

The SMSL DL300 decodes MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) files, offering sound quality as close as possible to the actual studio recording. It also supports the MQA-CD format, enabling this format to be read from a CD player. MQA streams are supported by Toslink optical, coaxial and USB-C inputs.

A high-performance headphone amplifier

In addition to its DAC function, the SMSL DL300 is a high-performance headphone amplifier. Its front panel features two headphone outputs: a 6.35mm jack and a balanced 4.4mm jack. Moreover, a gain control with two settings (Low: 0dB & High: +7dB) is available. Headphone output distortion remains reliable at 0.0001% (-120dB, UN-WTD) and output power is 2x2W @ 16Ω and 2x1W @ 32Ω.

Tout d'abord, 5 étoiles pour Audiophonics, super produits proposés, livraisons rapides et fiables, merci.
Concernant le SMSL DL300, que du très bon, voire excellent. Depuis un certain temps je cherchais un dac assez performant , correspondant à mon budget pour donner un petit coup de fouet à mon installation (ampli Rega Elex R, lecteur réseau Octavio Stream, enceintes Siare Delta 200 qui m'accompagnent depuis 45 ans). Après avoir fait quelques essais avec les possibilités de réglages disponibles ( la notice est en Chinois, alors !!) j'ai été vraiment enthousiasmé par la qualité du son (en HiRes magnifique !), de la présence incroyable dans ma pièce (45 m²). Bien que n'ayant pas vraiment d'élément de comparaison avec du matériel plus couteux, je suis vraiment RAVI de mon achat et je recommande ce SMSL DL 300.
