BERRYBAK BDSP2.4U DSP Preamplifier

The BerryBak BDSP2.4U is a DSP preamplifier based on an ADAU1701 architecture, designed to handle signal processing and distribution in compact multi-way configurations. It relies on a two-input, four mono RCA output topology, enabling 2.1 or 4.0 system implementations, while its front-panel adjustment interface allows direct tuning of the bass and mid-high bands to adapt the frequency response to the system.

BerryBak BDSP2.4U: A Versatile Device

The BDSP2.4U integrates five front-panel potentiometers, enabling independent adjustment of bass bandpass filtering and mid-high highpass filtering, allowing precise frequency distribution of the signal according to the system. This approach extends to a gain balance control between the bass and mid-high sections, enabling fine relative level adjustment and ensuring consistent, coherent reproduction. In addition, its two-input, four mono RCA output architecture structures signal routing, supporting 2.1 or 4.0 configurations with independent channel distribution.

BerryBak BDSP2.4U: ADAU1701 DSP

The BDSP2.4U also integrates a high-performance ADAU1701 DSP chip for audio signal processing, including a 10-band equaliser, delay management and crossover adjustment.

Once connected to the Wondom ICP5 programmer, you can write a programme using Sigma Studio, or achieve real-time control of your audio system via the PC user interface, through which gain, volume, highpass/lowpass filters, equaliser and other parameters can be adjusted.

BerryBak BDSP2.4U: Aluminium Chassis

Designed for direct integration into varied configurations, the BDSP2.4U adopts an aluminium chassis whose structural rigidity ensures both reliability and passive thermal dissipation, while facilitating installation in space-constrained environments. This approach is complemented by USB Type-C power delivery at 5 V, simplifying setup without requiring a dedicated power solution.
