SMSL RAW-MHA1 Power Amplifier

The SMSL RAW-MHA1 is a compact Class D stereo power amplifier designed to drive passive speakers with high power while offering great integration flexibility. It is based on an Infineon amplification chip and features two operating modes, PBTL and BTL, allowing the available power to be adapted to different configurations. In PBTL mode, it delivers up to 2× 160W into 4Ω or 2× 85W into 8Ω, while BTL mode can reach 200W into 4Ω or 345W into 8Ω.

The RAW-MHA1 features RCA and XLR inputs for receiving a signal from a preamplifier or analog source, as well as speaker terminals and a subwoofer output with an integrated low-pass filter. Its amplification stage achieves a THD of 0.004% and a signal-to-noise ratio of 104dB. Its Class D architecture also provides efficiency above 90%, limiting heat dissipation despite the available power. Its CNC-machined and anodized aluminum alloy chassis contributes to the overall rigidity and heat dissipation, while protection circuits against overheating, overcurrent and short circuits ensure safe operation.

With dimensions of 182 × 46 × 187mm, the SMSL RAW-MHA1 is therefore a compact and versatile power amplification solution for stereo Hi-Fi systems or BTL configurations.
